Why small groups?
Having done free walking tours for over 10 years with group sizes from 1 to 100 people, I felt that it was time to move on to a different kind of tour experience.
The years after the pandemic have shown me that I enjoy smaller groups where one can interact with their surroundings better, ask questions and get the most out of their time on the tour. For this reason, group sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 people. This provides a closer, more enriching experience while being more respectful of the locals who work and live in the city.

Yes, my tours are family-friendly and suitable for children of all ages. However, please note that some tours involve walking up to 3km, so I recommend considering the preferences and stamina of your children when booking and keep the weather in mind!

I recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes for our tours, as you’ll be exploring Helsinki on foot. Depending on the winter season, dress in layers and bring weather-appropriate gear like jackets or umbrellas. Always check the weather first as temperatures can range from -25ºC to +25ºC throughout the year and plenty of snow in the winter.
The amount of walking varies depending on the tour duration and itinerary. Most of our tours take about 2 to 3 hours and approximately 3km, but you can check the duration and the distance in Km on each tour page.
